SparkFit Speaker Series: Body Dysmorphia

Body Dysmorphia is defined in the DSM-V as a psychological disorder, marked by a person’s hyper-focus on some small aspect of their appearance that they find to be disgusting or unpleasant which often presents itself in compulsive behaviors related to the perceived flaw.

If you can relate to this definition, join Glenn McCracken, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Life Coach, and Personal Trainer, at SparkFit on Thursday, May 16th from 7:30-8:30pm for a discussion on body dysmorphia. Come and hear about Glenn’s personal journey with Body Dysmorphia and learn which cognitive behavioral skills can help you live your best life.
