We’ve all heard that to lose body fat, we need to eat less and move more, but this plan falls short for most and is super demotivating! The body is far more complex than simply calories in vs. calories out. This workshop will cover the basics of energy balance and provide a basic understanding of the factors that affect our metabolism. Students will learn effective strategies to choose the right foods while eliminating the wrong ones and how to work this into their daily life. By simply eating the right foods, in the right quantities, weight loss will take care of itself for most individuals!
Nicole McBride is a Precision Nutrition certified coach and began coaching others to improve their nutritional habits after struggling with her own habits her entire life. Always striving to outrun her bad diet, she reached a point where her weight was out of control and knew something had to change. Once she began to make small changes to her nutrition, it positively affected all other parts of her life! All of our actions, behaviors, and thoughts are fueled by what we feed our body so its importance cannot be overlooked!
