Barbell Workshop: Benchpress

The bench press is a powerful strength builder that is often overlooked (especially in women!) The bench press is for everyone! And though commonly referred to as an upper body lift, the bench press is an expression of FULL BODY strength and power! Students will leave with an understanding of the what and what not to dos, the muscle and joint actions required, how to lift strong and safely, proper biomechanical breath, how to set up and finish, and applicable take home drills to apply directly in their training. Come attend to finally have an answer to the common question of, “How much do you bench bro!?”
